Waited for the Fall price of $29 18/cart to start before playing here and will have to say........Great Deal for a Great track. It rained quite a bit the last 12 hrs so the soggy conditions (fairways/traps) get a Bye on my ratings, because you can tell it was tuned-up 24hrs ago. My friend Mark (46/42 w/38putts) and I (45/39 w/35putts) tee off in a drizzle for the first hour with conditions that took a toll on our scoring ability for the Front 9 (3,432yds / Par36) This course greeted us with a beautiful Links style layout on the front, great landing areas, forced carries that kept you on your toes. The various shape greens held good and rolled (8-9) very fast/true despite the wet conditions we chose to play in. The many slight doglegs with good placement on fairway hazards had us using range finders for almost every shot. They did have some fairway sprinkler heads marked, coupled with the standard yardage blocks down the center made guess work a little easier. Even the par 3's had at least one (1) yardage block to give you an idea how close you were shooting the flag. Now the Back 9 (3,185 yds / Par 36) things got a little tighter for your landing areas with the trees/marsh lands playing with your eyes and testing your club confidence. As the course dried out conditions improved and the toughness starting raising its head and the blind 2nd shots started affecting the relaxed openness we had experienced on the Front 9. The many forces carries we had from the Blues today (6,617 yds / 72.3 / 133 / Par 36) was really good for our focus on distances to landing areas we needed to hit. Now on the "One Ugly Hole" that the previous reviewer mentioned, that would be #15 100-122yds Par 3. This looked/placed like they had a 17 hole layout and needed to squeeze in someplace, "Lets put it here". Other than that, this is one gorgeous layout with a few nice homes that don't disrupt the way you'll play each hole. There is some housing construction going on between #11 & #12 that looks like a couple years till finished. Worth stopping in and playing this great priced and laid out track.
